You had to ask!! I'll have to do some research to get the ProLinks that I used. I do recall that I turned down the top of the strut to get a deeper engagement into the Robart trunion.

Joe, I...

A word about trailing link gear on the R-54. I had Pro Link trailing links on my R-54 and found that if you screw up a landing, which will happen, the gear will create a rearward twisting moment on...

Bruce, I've always tried to adhere to the old adage "Do it right the first time". You did it right the first time and it shows by the R-54 following you have. I have several jets in my stable but...

RE: Reaction 54 Jet Kit

Legnum, I still see the potential to pull the retract mount plate and wing skin away from the W6 rib sandwich. There doesn't appear to be enough contact surface to hold that skin/gear mount plate to...

RE: Reaction 54 Jet Kit

Legnum, I have built two R54's and I see something in your wing that troubles me. You have eliminated the triangular brace blocks at the plywood sandwich on rib W6 in favor of small traingular pieces...

RE: Reaction 54 Jet Kit

Hanapi, loosing a jet is a real heart breaker. I lost my first R-54 in the sun (my own stupid mistake). When I picked up the remains, the nose was burried 18" in the dirt. However, the tail section...

RE: Reaction 54 Jet Kit

Mark, the balance range from the plans measured from the leading edge at the wing root is 6" back for the forward extreme to 7" at the rear extreme. You are right on target with 6 1/2".

RE: Reaction 54 Jet Kit

Gruntled, I'm in LaPlata now and I expect to be at the PGRC field Saturday late AM. Keep your eye out for a 5'5" guy with a tan Tam Jets hat on. I'll head straight for the jets if there are any there.

RE: Reaction 54 Jet Kit
