Thats the biggest problem I have with it, making myself slow it down. I have lots of flap and some crow mixed in to try to make it stop flying, Bruce just designed it too good! :)

A couple more great flights with the R54/JetcatP70 yesterday, this time on a short grass field, this bird works perfect up here where there are no GOOD jet fields.

The block of wood in the fuse that the wing bolts go into, one of the holes is finally stripping out, any problems putting a blind nut on the top of it? Thinking that would be a pretty permanent...

Hey all, anyone transport an R54 in a short bed truck? Got a jet event this weekend and like to see how others are doing it, it and the wing are longer than the bed (99 dodge)

Normally I do use the grass Bob, but this one just felt good! If I didnt have the brakes set in the air I probably would have ran off the end of the runway. Having fun with the bird, most at my club...

Thanks! I think that was my 7th flight on the R54 since I got it. Crow and brakes on is the hot ticket to super short landings on this tiny field. They are not all that good, but it works! Great job...

Just put 4 more flights on mine this weekend, put crow into it, that is definately the hot ticket, takes some float out, also, put the brakes on while in the air so when it touches it sticks. Ill...

Yes at bellair. Ill have to check the dates, typically the princeton events are both planned on the same weekends as other events I attend, so it never works out. [&o]
