If I understand Leroy...I think that's exactly what I did. I spent way to much time trying to straighten out the warped lite-ply sides, so I cut the middle section out...from just aft of the wing TE...

I made a replacement former "D" and the fit is OK...

I made a replacement former "D" and the fit is OK and helps mitigate the twist. I think I have the twist in the fuselage reduced down from 2 degrees to about 1/2 degree...measured with my incidence...
