Don, a friend of mine has a P-120 turned down to 18lbs of thrust. Flies fine but the residual thrust makes it hard to land without a long flat approach even will 60 degrees of flap and 1/4 " of crow....

My rear hatch is held closed by 3m clear vinal tape. It has never opened in flight.

I was one of the first guys to put a P-70 in a R-54; my plug is a 7:00 and starts just fine almost everytime unless its really hot out.

I have started working up a 1.5 up size that would P120 size turbines. It will have the same shapes just enlarged wood fuse but foam wing and tail surfaces.

I have mine set for 60 degrees with 1/4 inch of up bias ailerons for crow. I also fly from a short filed and this allows me to pin point my landings everytime.

I put an extra 24 oz dubro tank where the air tank is shown on the plans and moved the tank to the rear hatch area, other than that no other mods. You'll love it with the P-70
