My theory for the speedbrake is it will hopefully allow the use of a little power on landing.
While it's true the R will slow to a crawl on landing, I find it difficult to hit the same spot
...

Hi Dave,

Welcome to the club reaction.

I just added the speedbrake to my reaction but did it on the bottom of the wing. Hope to try it out next weekend...

Dave,

I also used the 'tiller' system on the rudder. Works great. I mounted my rudder and elevator servo's in the opening behind the main fuel tank.
This gives a straight shot to the surfaces....

Finished covering...I haven't used the old iron and heat gun in 12 years.
and I thought painting was a pain in the arse...monokote = work.

Thanks for the tips.

Actually, the flow through the inlets is quite good in 'static tests' with 70+ mph flow. Will have to see what the real world brings.
