I wouldn't worry about it either at this point. I know with the Xicoy ECU's it's suggested at least with JetCentral to initially bring the throttle up one click at a time on the stick and leave it...

1/2 throttle to the runway? I'm usually all the way out of the throttle coming out of the turn on final. Maybe it's that idle thrust. Even when I had a P-60 I would be at idle pretty far out.

That's a cool story. I have given up even thinking of getting rid of my Reaction probably until the point I can't fly anymore. It is just the easiest everyday flier for a no stress day at the field....
