I don't buy models to modify them so they will fly properly. To me that's just wrong. If a factory can't fix obvious flaws then it's not on my list to acquire. And Lord knows, I've been duped into buying something I thought was good before.

Yeah bud me to, this was the last jet they have I would possible want! Maybe, maybe super deal on the X large viper jet in blue so I could put some X large Minion pilots in it for the kids to enjoy at events!
Gonna give T1 a shot next as long as they fix some details on the kit I want!

If you come around town visiting that daughter give me a shout.

EXACTLY!!
Customers are not an R&D Department! Some feedback is ok to fine-tune a MINOR ISSUE but thats it!

Has anyone got any airtime with this F18 in single turbine? We’ve got one super here in Oz that flys great on a 260. Other than that I’ve only seen twins. Mine is almost ready with a 260 for power as 300 wouldn’t fit.
cheers
Levi

Tremendous weathering job!!

yessir, spent a few months 2000 and again in 02 up in the NT flying with some great Aussies. Loved my time up there. My son lives / works in Hobart Tazzy and is bugging me to visit again. LoL

he will be at Sydney opera house in January with the cirque de soleil act there

That’s super cool mate. I’ve been spending some time around the classic Hornets lately getting documentation for this project. I can only imagine what it’s like to strap one on your back. My jet number 21-21 is a replica of one of our Hornets based in RAAF base Williamtown in NSW. The pilot is a mate and he’s getting me some great access and info. Actually he’s over in your land now training on the 35’s. I’ve put his name on my jet. If you visit your son look us up on Facebook. We are 3.5 hours north of Sydney and fly regularly at the local full size airports. Plenty of jets here for you to fly 🤙🏼

Default F-18 1/6.25 maiden

Hello guys,

yesterday I had maiden with my brand new Rhino. Everything went perfect. She flies so stable 😃👍
I ended at 25 kg (german TOW limit) inclusive 3.6 litre kerosene. The engine is a Frank-Turbine FT-250, which is more than enough. Take off after ~60 metre from very long and rough grass. I only use the left nozzle with approximately 5 degress thrust to the outside. 3.5 or 4 degrees would have been perfect. But there‘s no space left to the LG, because the turbine sits 25 cm more in front as Skymaster planned for the single version.
The CG is located at first wing joiner (195 mm) without fuel.
Years ago I flew the FEJ F-18 1/7. Holy cow, what a difference! I‘ll sell my FEJ as soon as possible😎

Best Regards

Karl-Andreas
